The Tweed Hospital’s Security department operates 24/7 ensuring the safety of all staff, patients, and visitors within the hospital. NSW Health has a policy of zero tolerance towards violence.

Patients or visitors who do not behave in an acceptable manor, or who fail to comply with direct instructions from staff, will be asked to leave the premises or provision of services may be withdrawn.
