North Coast NSW HREC meeting dates and submission deadlines

Please be aware of the following:

  • Every new Human Research Ethics Application must include a Pre-Submission Checklist.
  • All new Human Research Ethics Applications, and Amendments to existing projects, are to be submitted via REGIS. See the REGIS Quick Reference Guides for instructions to help users work in REGIS.
  • All study documentation submitted should include version control (date and version number) in the document footer.
  • Applications received after the submission closing date will be held over until the next available meeting.
  • Incomplete applications will be returned to the researcher for re-submission to the next available meeting.
  • In preparing a revised submission please provide a cover letter listing the feedback provided and your response and/or responsive action, to each item.
  • Any changes to the study documents (via a revised submission or an Amendment) should be made with tracked changes and include updated version control (date and version number) in the document footer.
  • If you are an employee or agent of Northern NSW and/or Mid North Coast Local Health District you may be eligible to apply for a non-HREC level of review. Please contact your research office to discuss prior to preparing a Human Research Ethics Application via REGIS.
