Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:


The Needle Syringe Program (NSP) is a public health measure aimed at reducing the spread of blood-borne viruses such as HIV, Hep B & Hep C among people who inject drugs (PWID).

Kyogle Harm Reduction Services include:

  • free access to a range of injecting equipment, information, support, referral
  • 24 hour fit pack vending machine located. Equipment available: 5 x 1ml pack; 4 x 5ml pack; 2 x wheel filters; 6 x 10 ml water ampules for injection
  • 24-hour sharps safe-disposal bin at the NSP site
  • backup service for vending machine through Emergency Department.

Hours of service: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
